With the 5View product suite, InfoVista extends its performance management and service assurance capabilities to include IP based application quality and traffic monitoring. Using NetFlow and deep packet inspection (DPI) technologies, the 5View products enable in-depth business oriented analysis of application flow and usage data. We offer an alternative cost-effective package based on Open Source tools optimized and integrated by our experienced engineers: Enhanced HealthCheck Silver (EHCS).
Dashboards, alerting, monitoring, reporting & security
EHCS provides ITIL-oriented views for capacity planning, service level and incident management. It includes the monitoring and alarm management of applications, servers, network and critical metrics such as CPU utilization, disk space, memory usage, network links availability and much more.
Security metrics are also monitored via an Anomaly Detection (AD) algorithm developed and displayed in the Security Management part of the main dashboard. All monitoring and reporting information are displayed in a professional, user-friendly graphical interface. Moreover, Service Level reports are available in Portable Document Format (PDF).
EHCS includes an effective alerting tool. Warning and critical thresholds can be set on metrics; including TCP service ports or events from event logs and SNMP traps allowing the monitoring of applications. Notifications can be sent by email, pager or SMS. Additionally the tool provides a dashboard-style summary view of all monitored services, along with a three-color code (ok, warning, critical status).
EHCS provides a global indicator which informs about the whole IT environment status in one shot. Finally, alerts can be acknowledged and follow-up messages added to track troubleshooting status.
